I'm a newbie and can someone tell me does fiberfill change port tuning? i want to put a TS-W3004SPL in a ported box the box size that will fit in my trunk is 1.3cu. and tuned to 32Hz I want to add fiberfill to make it 1.6-1.7 would this work?

poly fill, fiber fill what ever you call it, what it does is slow down the air inside the enclosure, so it makes the sub feel like its in a bigger box. it also lowers the tuning a little bit, again since its slowing the air down.

Indeed, poly-fill does do that, however, other box fills (open or closed cell foam, Dacron, fiberglass, etc.) have different effects and are used for different reasons. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
