Tundra Sub Box Cone Clearance?

So I've never had a downfiring system installed and I'm worried about the clearance with the box below. Doesn't it appear that the cone will hit the floor? The sub I'm getting has a rated xmax of 1" and I'll need to make a spacer 1/8-1/4" thick making the speaker a tad closer to the floor.

Anyone know how far a cone truly travels out passed the speaker surround or does it? I've never actually looked at my sub in my car with the trunk open mainly because it's far to loud and I don't want to draw attention. I'm looking to get the polk sub below.

Thanks!
