Have any of you noticed spec variances between subs that are identical outside of the voice coil configuration? I'm just wondering whether there is an audible difference or if it is just noticeable in lab testing.
The speaker I'm looking at (dvc version) is rated 4 db less sensitive. The low end frequency response is 5 hz higher the rms is rated 65 watts lower.
Essentially according to the lab sheet it is less efficient, doesn't go as low and can't handle as much wattage.
