Trying to understand what DD did on my recone

my friend got 2 DD 2512's ordered then , about a month later, he ordered 4 more.. and the last 4 came with Taller surrounds than the 1st two.. Coils read the same and they perform the same..

All of the DD subs now come with the new taller surrounds. Just a design improvement DD does on a regular basis.

yea i heard about the new surround a few weeks ago i think, funny i never noticed the spiders set up like that tho...either way change is usually for the better.....

so people say, but people also say they use a bit better parts then the ab's and cost more.

This was one night before a huge 3 point event, wall just was finished, and I blew up 2 orion hcca's so I put one. Before I had my daily port built so the wall was tuned upwords of 50hz, and i had no trim panels built so air was escaping into the trunk

The video above is the night before dropfest. I took out the amp right before I left for dropfest! haha

It was to be these to guys for dropfest

But upon first turn on one was bad. so I put the spl dynamics in at .2 ohms and i didnt make it to the show with that, so it ended up being 1 orion hcca2400, and 1 rockford fosgate t10001bd for drop fest and major phase issues!!! in a unfinished wall, and a 142db bassrace I think it was, or right under that.

for dropfest it was the rf and the t10001bd.

The exclusive company is where your car was smoking, and I was back on my old faithful 4 channel amp. american bass sq480.

50x4 @ 4ohms

80x4 @ 2 ohms

250+x4 at 1 ohm with 80 amps of fusing. That amp pushed the subs all day long haha

Yea, lol. I bought the amp from jer for like $90 bucks or something, he was making fun of me over the mic say this guy has a couple grand worth of woofers and a $300 4 channel amp pushing them..

I also think that was my first 1st place in my class.

I remember taking out some guy by 2 db's and he had 4 kicker l7s laying in his back seat/trunk of his grand am with a kicker kx1500.1 at .5 ohms. I thought it was pretty funny

Yup, I took a break from many sites except smd and sound mekanix productions (which is our db drag host in our area).

There is just way to much drama in the audio world and it gets sickening from time to time, where you just gotta call it quits.

Yeah that was the first time I ever driven the car since I got it. That car was the biggest mistake I ever made and just goes to show that Tim Roy is a POS. But I have a feeling that is a name not many people will be hearing any time soon cause im not the only one who has had major issues with him.
