Trying to install new JVC deck no power.

hey the system is all together finished it tonight with a friend he helped thankfully lol. Anyway its working sounds ok i still have to play with the deck and tweak also need to double check the connections i think only one sub is hitting. Otherwise though its all setup just some minor tweaking and I dont see any dimming so far, does that mean im in the clear? Or could dimming become gradual as the batt dies or the alt goes idk...Ill get to finally put my dash back together lol and I got the limo tint today looks awesome i had it professionally installed its sick.

Probably, but you'll know for sure in less than a week, because as you said the battery may slowly wear down and the Alt might not be able to keep up.

But usually light dimming is present right away due to the power consumption of the bass hitting and the electrical system not being able to provide enough power to the headlights. You also may get it if you have the stereo cranked, headlights on and A/C or heater going, if you haven't tried that yet.

im just not sure what to look for in a better battery what makes it better etc...
If you can find one at a good price a Batcap 2000 is a very powerful and fairly compact battery...You would need the top post mounting kit about $20.00 which gives you a set of brass battery connectors that will fit your factory cables...or another route would be to use ring terminals and replace factory battery connectors...The big 3 which includes updating your wiring you can search on here and find info may be all you need...another thing...your car is a uni body car meaning there is no frame...so getting a really solid and low resistant ground on your amp may help out a lot....

well im gonna look around for now i just play a song or two loud when i want otherwise the subs are turned to half or off. Im fine with that for now but i want to change the batt out anyway i think

If you decide to change the battery out/exchange it..Orielys has a decent one that has a bit more CCA(cold cranking amps) and reserve ,and a decent warranty, than the Red tops or right at,and could save you some money without loosing performance.Thought Id mention this to you as well.
