Trying to go back to college

Hey everyone ok so here is the deal I am 3 classes short of my degree in IT. I haven't gone to school in over 2 years. I failed 2 classes my last semster there and because of money and family problems haven't gone back. I am trying to get back this semester. I was wondering tho if anyone here even knew if I have a chance of get aid because of the fact i would have been on academic probation for the 2 failed classes. Now take in mind this is over 2 years ago so i dont know if im sitll considered on probation or not. school will only cost me about 5 grand to finish these classes but that is more money than i have right now. My job i am at will reimburse me if i pass but i have to get the money to start.

So does anyone know of any grants or aid i might be able to get?

Fill out a FAFSA and a CSS Profile, you may be able to get government subsidized loans. I'm not for sure about your situation, but those would be the best two places to start.

fill out the fafsa and find out the school's policy regarding reinstating aid. Most likely you will have to write some letter explaining why you had trouble and what has changed that will allow you to succeed this time.

You shouldn't be on academic probation anymore. They usually just make you sit out a semester and since it's been 2 years I think you've covered that with flying colors.

I could goto a community college or tech school but since i only have like 10 credits left max it would be pointless for me to start transfering stuff back and forth.

I applied at fafsa hopefully i get something but who knows.

now im just searching online for any other grants or aid that is available
