trying to get bass from trunk to cabin

i have a 2001 ford taurus 4 door SE and the bass doesn't want to flow through the seats or somethin', i'm thinking of cutting out and getting rid of the factory shit they put in behind the rear speakers cuz i think this stuff is sound dampening material, will this help the bass from the subs to get to the front of the car better, and will the bass be louder? thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

soun deaden ur whole trunk also an idea is cut a nice hole in ur rear dash and make a ported box that fires into the cabin subs facin rear of the car .

there is some material i could cut and make a 12 inch hole between the 2 rear speakers, should i cut that out so the bass from the subs flows through there?

yea you can do that , also get a new box that ports ur subs to firing in that hole

i'm gonna take my rear speakers out cuz rear fill is stupid, and i'll get more bass in the car.

YOU NEED ALOT MORE BASS..Just take out the Rear Seats and Get 4 ADIRE Brahmas powered by 2 Hifonics1500Bd's..then you will no longer be paranoid of BASS and scared of the people who play it....Oh...those people are EVERYONE WHO LISTENS TO MUSIC!!!!!

Well im sure he'd liek to keep his passenger capacity the same , but i would liek i said deaden the whole trunk and bascially take out the rear fill and trim the entire rear dash to make it one big hole for you subs in a ported box firin into the rear glass most likely . It would also sound much better aswell.
