trying to fire off the rear window

i want make my sub install so that it fires off the rearwindow to give the "hatchback" effect since i already have the trunk sealed off from cabin with my current install. the problem is i want to do this with a ported 15 and my rear deck is only like a lil bigger than 12" front to back (compact car) so i'll have to have the sub angled which in a way helps since i can get a better angle off the back window. the port seems to be my main problem. i can either have a slot port that fires forward or run something like 2 4" aero ports or whatever tube port confiruration that will give the ava enough port volume. I also just started to think that i could just keep the sub firing forward but have the port firing off the back window since if i'm not mistaken most of the "sound" comes from the port on low notes with a ported box anyway.

Id say keep your subs facing forward and cut out 2 4" diameter holes in your rear deck and port it that way.

you could put the sub under the hatch and the port firing at the glass, just an idea

95 nissan sentra. no digicam so i don't have anypics. sometime i'm going to get the mobile web service turned on on my phone (1.2 megapixel camera phone so they should be alright for a phone) the install is pretty simple the way it is now. the box fires through the passthrough hole in the rear firewall and there are 3 barrier walls along with a bunch of expanding foam to seal everything off. I would do it this saturday but i got to work a half day and take my girl somewhere. i'll proball get to building as soon as i get a hold of the areoports. i would just run the ports through the speakerholes in the reardeck since i won't use them anyway but i don't think i can a box thats both tall enough for a 15" and wide enough to run the ports through the speaker hole unless i use a bend the pipe. come to think off it i'll need to do it that way. wonder can i just order the mouth for a aeroport and glue that to regular 4 inch pvc. then i won't have to do anymore cut which would save me time, cuts on my hand and structural integrity
