Trying to convince my dad to buy this...

you're high dude. cobras are like 35ish.
the new Shelby is the only cobra ford is making on this new platform and it's way more than 35k. The GT's are about 28-35. last spec i heard on this one is expect pre-orders to soar and have ford redesign their price point. this is coming from the biggest ford dealership's owner in central Tx. all he'd tell me was over 40 less than 60 but if collector's and demand is high enough expect for to go for 55+.

well that cobra isnt out yet. sticker on the last ones made that were compared to the vettes were around 35. now the new cobra is a whole different breed of animal compared to the new one. ford really stepped up, so an increased of price is expected when the car has been improved as much as it has.

going off weight and how the GT drive's as it still share's the same essential platform , IMO it'll be a waste of $. Big power and all but if it does end up at 50k I'd for sure take a c6 and still beat it.

can i have the wheels //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
No. one of them has turbo wheels, the other has some other ones, i think off of a gt3.

i dont think i have any pics of those gt3 rims, i think i only have one or two of each car actually.

on the strip i could take my old cobra and blow a c6's doors off all day long. i spent less money on that car all together than a c6 costed. mustangs and camaros have never been good for anything other than a straight line anyway.

in that case, i wouldnt spend money on either one, i would rather go with something else all together, because neither are truely a road racer.
yeah you're correct the z06 is only the 2nd fastest car the nuremburg or however you spell that has ever tested. let's not forget that's a road course not just a straight line.

lets not forget that i am more into road racing than probably anyone you know. once you actually drive a race car on a road course, you know what a race car should feel like.

i realize age doesn't always equal experience or anything but you're 18 and i have friends who have raced since they were your age. they are now 26-28 so i highly HIGHLY doubt your statement but thanks for the thought.
