If you bought the KCA-420i you can. I believe it is under CD-Changer when you hook it up.

yep. that's what i use.

if thats what you use and you have it hooked up correctly i know my 9855 it came up under ipod not cd changer like the above post..... you might have to go into your menu and turn it on.....check ur manual.

i did not get the kca-420i. i returned it to best buy. i guess ill have to get the kca-420i. atleast i know i can still controll ipod functions.

it says in the description that you cannot control ipod functions through the radio with that adapter. you need a different one (kca-420i) to be able to do that.

it didnt say that at best buy but an overlook on my part. i cant believe i forgot about the kca 420. i honestly never thought id own an ipod until i got one for free so i never looked into hooking up an ipod to my HU! thanks for the help though, now lets see if i can find a good deal on one cause $100 is too much. id rather throw that ipod out the window.
