the amp has nothing to do with ported boxes. its a good amp. and im not sure what the voice coil configuration on the SEs are...we better find out first. and plus...its not good to run your subs @ 1ohm for daily driving....

I'd imagine a subsonic filter would be nice in a ported box...actually isn't it kind of necessary? And why isn't it safe to run subs at 1 ohm? If the subs are designed to be able to be wired to one ohm, the VC's should be able to handle the resistance, correct?

for daily driving...it would wear much faster...amp would get hotter even if it is 1 ohm stable. its mainly a comp thing

I know of amps that stay pretty cool at 1 ohm...and port a box to say38-40 hz for daily use, w/o sub filter, and play DMX "Ain't no Sunshine", which has a 28 Hz bass line....
