still unsure about the amps i know the (2 12") will be on 500rms an the (3 12") will be 1000rms

Check the classies here, you might find better, but if that is what you are set on, the kenwoods might be ok. What are your amp choices.

She should save up more money that really isn't much to work with if you want it to sound half decent and last more then a year

Don't go 3 12's sealed. If her goal is to get loud then 2 ported 12's over 3 sealed will do it. Of your choices I'd say the Pioneers. Why not go Craigslist? You can probably get her a couple CVR's for around 100-120 bucks and then get an Audiopoop 1300 mini and BOOM! Your @ around 225 bucks and making noise.

get an sa-8, port it, throw it on 800-1000 watts and call it a day

or get two sa-8's and put them between 1200 and 1500 watts... look for used equipment though.

on craigslist you can either find deals of the century or people trying to rip you off on brands such as MTX and Rockford Fosgate because they dropped over a grand in their local shop on 500 watts of power and two P2's in a prefab.

Hmm I would rather go with used stuff in the classifieds. You can get a pair of Sundown or Incriminator 10s for under ~120 and then get a 500w amp for around 60-70 bucks, then get your wiring kit for around 30 bucks and a prefab box for 30-50 bucks. I think a dude has 4 SD2.0 10's in the classifieds for cheaaappp and you can throw a pair in a cheap box on 500w.

see i personally wouldn't recommend the Hifonics subs. but then again it is for his sister. if she just wants bass and doesn't know what she's talking about then go for it lol.

yeah snag one of those C2 subs get a D2 so you can run the apsm 1300 at 1 ohm to reduce distorion.
