so my friend calls me *****in that his amp wont work and i have no clue what to tell him so heres the problem....its a pyramid royal blue 2400w "terrible i know", and u turn on the cd player it'll thump then the safetly comes on....what should he do?

Double check all wiring make sure nothing is grounding out and speakers are hooked up properly.

If that doesnt work buy a new amp.

could it be that he dont have a big enough gauge wire for his power and ground?

oh no, he thinks its a great amp, he wouldnt do that....hes got it hooked up to my treo ssi 15, i was tryin to get him to buy it
