using birch to help save weight. the bracing is where the main strength will come from.need an alt bro. seriously i would put money on you dropping into the 11-10 volt range with that much power on the stock alt. just keep an eye on everything and use your senses to tell you if something is going wrong (smell is very important)
i see says the blind manusing birch to help save weight. the bracing is where the main strength will come from.
I'm sure he didn't want the extra weight of multiple layered MDF. BB layered is very strong, so he'll be fine.and also, future box tip, birch is only stronger than MDF if a single layer is used, when you start using MDF in multiple layers it's strength increases exponentially, Birch is more linear.
was that "12" at the dash, batteries, or amplifiers?lol it was already ran like this. dropped to 12 full tilt with 2 hdc3 12's. amps never got over cold.
was that "12" at the dash, batteries, or amplifiers?
and if the amps never got more than cold, you probably werent seeing half their power with that electrical system.
Bite the bullet and get the HO alternator now. In terms of how much $$$ is going into this, an alternator wont be much more, and it will be a DRASTIC improvement
Okay, dont take my advice, i was just trying to give some help.it was at the amplifiers. so what if i wasnt see half the power ,its still loud as balls. alternator is like 550, plus to get it installed, and now im flat broke because of buying teh subs and all of the wood. and i just started back to college, so no money.
