This is my bro's build we are hoping to have the box built by tom. or friday. The box we are making will be 24 cubes tuned to 38Hz with 4 - 9in. sonotubes. For power he is running 2 older AQ3500Ds @ .5OHMs a piece. He has the stock alt and a kinetic 1800 up front and 2 HX400s in the back for now... Here are some pics

Yea its subs up port back. Going to get more wire tomorrow. Box is all birch double baffled on bottom and triple on top with bracing all around. no, but seriously, i'de definitely get an upgraded alternator before attempting to run 7krms, ESPECIALLY on a .5 ohm load.

coming from the 132.6 lulz. amps will not blow dropping to not even 12 volts fegs.

i'm pretty sure the car will just implode on intself with the stock alt doing a 153 on music( which I call BS beee teee dub).. keep a fire extinguisher ready.

k it might not do close to a 153 idk im just throing it out there. the setups i have done all have done decent numbers though.

need an alt bro. seriously i would put money on you dropping into the 11-10 volt range with that much power on the stock alt. just keep an eye on everything and use your senses to tell you if something is going wrong (smell is very important)

and also, future box tip, birch is only stronger than MDF if a single layer is used, when you start using MDF in multiple layers it's strength increases exponentially, Birch is more linear.

bro i have already ran the amps like this just the way it is on two hdc3 12's same impedance. dropped to 11.98 full tilt on music tiny blinks of clipping on amp. had so much power the spiders tore on the old hdc3 coppers we had. peaked at 35 hz and was way louder than my maxima that did over a 145 at the headrest at the same hz. i will clamp for power to once they are broken in all the way. im not that ignorant.
