Trunk wall 15s vs upfiring 18s.

Title says it all. I believe I have the trunk space for 2 18s however they would have to be up firing. The plan at the moment is to use two 15s in a trunk wall behind the back seats which fold down. Which would be louder?

2 18s is quite a bit more cone area. Deaden the hell out of the trunk and I say the 18s will def be louder.

2013 Buick verano. I just did some quick trunk measurements and got 40x37x18.

Thats 12.4 after only accounting for mdf (including double baffle which is absolutely needed). Port displacement, bracing, sub displacement will put you well below 10.....

I figured that would be the case. I was just kinda toying with the idea I hadn't done any real researching about it. 2 15s it is!
