I was wondering if there is a cheaper way to keep my trunk from rattling other than installing Dynamat. If there is not, where is the cheapest place to get a sound damping trunk kit?
Dynamat is horribly overpriced. Check out the products squeak listed. You pay for what you get bud, dynamat isnt really all that pricey when you think about it. Took 110% of the ghetto rattle out of my car and more. Trunk kit does a hefty job, easy to install too.
So does the stuff I listed; for about 1/4 of the price //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifYeah, it hurt my pocket a little, but it works real well.
Peel and seel will work if your car doesn't get hotter than about 100 degrees on the inside. I use secondskin. It can handle 480degrees or something like that. It works rather well for eliminating rattles. B-Quiet is good from what I hear too!
