trunk "floor" unlevel, box placement?

i have a 10" sub in a Q Logic Sealed Enclosure. However, because the spare tire is stored underneath, the "floor" of the trunk isn't level. See below pic:

approx size of box (although its not centered but u get the idea):

If I was to mount it towards the back of the car (where the "floor" is level), would this effect sound quality at all?

P.S. it will be sig closer than it may look in the pic., maybe less than a foot from the trunk latch.,
