trunk insulating ideas?

Hey- I just got done installing two new 6x9s in the trunk, and was wondering if there was any way to cut down on the vibration noise from the speakers. I'm not too concerned about eliminating road noise at this point. Right now, the speakers are directly touching the metal, so would putting in some kind of rubber gasket or something between the speaker and the rear deck cut down on some of that noise? Any other ideas are greatly appreciated.

Yes, that's called decoupling... get some removable sealant... make a gasket... install speakers - you are done. Check red devil website, they sell direct. Won't void speaker warranty.
