Trunk As A Box...

Hey guys...

My friend decided thathe loved my subs..and is also getting 2 L7's...15s tho...

He has a old pontiac...this thing is massive....

but we were wondering..noone ever uses theback seats...so..if we were to take out the rear seats...and put a kind of retaining wall there...and put the subs in the wall...using the trunk as a box....would that work?

yea it would BUT you couldn't run alot of power and the trunk is going to vibrate like hell and the subs will lack midbass

why not just build a box and put it where the seats are? that way you have a box, the subs will sound a lot nicer and your trunk wont rattle like crazy... it would look nicer too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

if you do a wall you must build a box then basically make a "trim panel" to make it look like a wall...
