Dude, if you've blown five L7's then getting a new sub isn't going to fix the problem. You'll blow another sub, get all pissed off, get another one, blow that too.
Unless you get your shit together and figure out WHY your subs keep exploding on you, all you're gonna do is waste more money.

I have been able to run other subs without blowing them for way longer periods of time with the exact same setup amp settings and all it has just been 2 subs instead of 1. I was just under the impression that the L5 and L7 couldn't really handle the 1000 RMS so I was looking into getting a sub with a higher RMS rating. That was the reason for the whole post. I have run 2 Type R 10's for a year and the L7 didn't last 3 months

I'm guessing your kicker box is tuned rather high and you're playing below tuning all the time, plus bass boost isn't helping.

2 subs surive as you have more motor strength. Why the 2 options listed as there is a LOT better shit out there to spend your $$$ on.

If it's a 15, then it's definitely your install. People here have ran 15" L7s with way more power than you and not blowing them. Like it's been said 8013849 times, it's your install.

yeah after I blew the L5 I figured I would upgrade to the L7 but neither one lasted

Dude def your install, set your gains correctly with a dmm. Im sure if you search you wont have a problem any more. Attached is some basics that may help you. If they wont DL PM and ill send them to you
