i found that 2 type r's hit harder when downfired in my ext. cab s-10. never tried facing toward passenger side.

yea i know....its kinda sorta temporary. so i can pull the box out and have passenger space in under 5 minutes.

theres no need to be ripping seats out for 2 12" rs.

when something a little bigger comes along....then maybe.

those are the only decent ones i have.

zapco ref dc amps are behind the seat. box is ported, bottom is fiberglassed over the hump. rears are zapco coaxials. that is about the rest of it. stinger 1/0 and connections.

bri487, could you tell me whether upfiring or forward firing is louder under the seats? I'm about to make an attempt at an under the seater with aeroports.

if you are going ported, firing direction doesnt matter, just make sure the woofers dont his the seat or the floor. sealed, downfiring is louder. take the port to the rear as well.

alright...btw this might be a stupid question but how the hell do you fold down the back part of the rear seat? i want to try and mount the amp back there but i couldn't get the seat down to save my life. The owners manual was lost when i bought the truck.

mine only folds the bottom half up towards the window. you ahve to pull the seat out. oh and my seat is raised slightly as well.
