Truck Box

i know lakotas was a ext cab, didn't know tommys was a standard cab. I've got a standard cab and i've done subs forward port up, and subs forward port sideways (really hard to do port forward or subs up when you have very limited depth) and to me subs forward port sideways is still the loudest by ear anyways
Tommy's truck is rediculous....all that noise coming from (1) 10''. I had to get out after a minute or so. In my truck port up is much louder to the ear than port to the passenger side. I never got around to trying port to drivers side because of how my amps are mounted.

No - the chambers are seperated right there so its not bothering anything. I can take a picture sideways if ya want.
no its fine. Im going to try to make it like that one. ill be buying the wood tomorrow and taking out the seat in my truck since im not driving it yet.

Smaller subs done Right will out perform larger subs done wrong ! ! !

12” sub do not work well behind the seat of a truck

to fit bigger boxes you may have to take pieces off your back wall. I've modified my back wall for a box as wide as 55" and 14" tall. This allows me to get 1.4cuft in each chamber w/o sacrificing leg room which Im about to build hopefully this weekend for 2 12s. a lot if it has to do with what sub your using and how much space it needs along with ported or sealed. I have one of the 12s right now in a 1.5 cuft box tuned to about 34 hz and it performs very well. The box isnt even designed for the sub either just a little something I through together. I will agree with zier that smaller subs done right will out perform bigger subs done wrong but that doesnt mean bigger subs done right wont sound good. Its all in the install.
