truck box question

Hey guys, I am getting ready to start drawing up plans for my s10 ext cab truck box for 2 12"s. The question I have is, if I use the same internal volume for both boxes, would there be any difference between whether the subs face up towards the roof or towards the rear of my seats? Thanks.

If you're going to make a sealed enclosure, your best option would probably be to down-fire them. Ported boxes usually sound best with the subs firing foward or up in a truck. I've found that firing the port any way but up or down works well, too. I just try to keep the port low..
