Truck Bed Subs ?

So i have an avalanche and i was wondering if it was completely necessary to take out the divider between the bed and the cab. it is not like a typical truck in the sense that they are connected with one divider between them where as in a truck there would be a space. Even if i dont touch the divider i should still be able to hear 2 15 l7's clear enough, and would it still be loud?

you have the hard top over the bed right?

I know somebody who has put the subs in the bed not connected to the rest of the truck and they said it sounded alright and everything, but idk... I think your best bet is to lose the wall and put the subs there...

Do you have the subs already or were you just thinking about those? Cause I have seen one install where they had 4 8's under the back seat and they could still use the back wall I think..

Oh it has nothing to do with wanting to use the wall, or not using it. i just dont want to do all the work to take it out, because its not like you can just remove it it only folds down.

my friend put his subs in the truck bed and it sounded horrible! the mid gate rattled like crazy and so did the removable rear window. everything rattled so much that you couldnt even hear the subs. sounds alot better with the midgate, but the rear window still rattles. i suggest going with something that can fit under the seats
