they are in an artical in 1 od the Magazines this month.. i forget which 1.. but it said something like 125 x 4 sell for 2500$... i read more about it tomorrow at work where i left my mag.. and let u know for sure what it said...

hah, i spent 2500 on my whole system. 2500 on an amp is absurd no matter how good it is. but if you really got the money, eh, go for it. I just dont see how theres a market for these things

the sub in your avatar cost you what, probably about $1000?? if there is a market for people who will spend $1000 for a sub, there is a market for people who will buy a worthy amp to power that sub. not trying to flame ya here, just making a point.

the amp listed above is tru's ultimate SQ amp, quite possibly THE ultimate SQ amp. and i believe that the rating of 125 watts is probably very low.

I wouldn't spend $2500 on an amp unless it was chump change for me.

Then again, I did spend $750 on a sub because, at the time, that was chump change for me. Oh how I miss those days...

oh the 125x4 is more like 250x4 or there about. also, the Tru C-7 is not for the timid. you have to have a few key factors, 1) fantastic TOP end none factory sold comp sets. 2) a lot of power to back it b/c it's a full class a/b and draws a good amount of current. and 3) a hell of a good crossover seperate from the amp b/c that amp simply has plugs for RCA's, speaker wire, and gain nobs.

i dont have any pics of the 502's just yet. we still havent finished building them yet... but they are a little over halfway there.

i should be getting the H-1 in this weekend, i have it payed for, just gotta pick it up. there is also going to be a second one coming this summer, when i get the money for it (thats only 600 warranty friendly watts nick //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ).

and as for the 4 magnums... im sure you know what they look like, but if you wanna see them you can see the pics of my old vehicle at SI's web page. it is the 1997 red explorer.

i sold the AB's a while back. i got a new vehicle and i am doing a whole new system. those AB's just werent powerful enough and when you got to cranking them they just didnt have a whole lot of control over the sub's. great for SPL though.

do u have a review of the 502's. and that is the problem with super high end equipment. most people couldn't tell the difference from how it sounds versus say a avionixx or a tsunami amp and if they could it wouldn't be worth the price difference to them.

If you can hear a difference between two amps, one of them is broken. It's job is to amplify the signal, not distort it into something it's not meant to be. Doesn't matter what it costs or who makes it.
