Troubleshooting

Why would the speakers only crackle when he presses the gas? That's where I got my educated guess from //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif If the speaker wire were shorting out or disconected, wouldn't it crackle at random times?
and the answer to you're question...it would'nt make it crackle at random, only when it was moved

I realize that was wrong, that's why I promptly edited my post. I even did the right thing by apoligizing for my not-so-smart response. I'm not trying to start a war with you here, I'm trying to open your mind to all possibilities, which I believe would be of benefit for everyone that reads this, including the original person with the question. I don't need people calling me names, and saying I am wrong when there is a chance that I am right.

I wasn't talking about that post. Jesus christ, I already told you that one was wrong. You called me a moron again after I suggested it had something to do electrically when the gas was pressed, if the car wasn't in motion. There is a chance I am right.

and the answer to you're question...it would'nt make it crackle at random, only when it was moved
You just proved your self wrong or what? He never mentioned the car moving. He said it crackles WHEN THE GAS IS PRESSED. Like I said before, there is no use in arguing, either one of us could be right. What we really need to know is if he was pressing the gas, causing him to accelerate, or pressing the gas in a standstill. If it was when he accelerated, we need him to test to see if it happens when he is at a standstill. If it doesn't happen when he is at a standstill, then hey, you get a cookie. I'm not going to continue arguing until we have more information. You seem to be the one into Newton and science, so the scientific process would tell you we need to eliminate variables before we can maken accurate theory. Agreed?

agreed 100&, but who sets around revving there engine? not I. i am in the wrong for assuming, but as you would agree most likely it's while he's moving

Who knows, we are both assuming I suppose. I assumed he tried to diagnose the problem atleast a little bit on his own by trying it while standing still, and found they still crackle. I guess only time will tell. Like I said earlier though, please disregard my first post, as I really know that was stupid to say. My home team, the Detroit Tigers are in the playoffs, and I'm watching them. I didn't really realize what I typed was so dumb until I took a second look at it. So anyway, I'm going to bed now after I watch the last of the bottom of the 9th. Bases are loaded right now, how intense //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Good Night

Wow, alright let me clear some things up and give you guys some details.

It happens at random, I drove two home three hours from Atlanta with the back seat up and it was fine until I puled onto my street where it began to crackle. I sat the seat down, no crackle.

Today was the first time I ever noticed the crackle while pressing the gas. I noticed it when I turned out of my neighborhood and when I was waiting at the stop sign, the soiund was fine. When I pressed the gas it crackled. I tried it while driving and while I coasted it wouldn't crackle and when I accelerated it would.

I then tried it at rest with the car in park and the E-Brake on, no crackle.

So can someone sum up all teh confusing things you guys have said and give me an idea of what to do? Thanks!

check your wiring...now that you've said its while you're moving, does it do it when you're braking and turning, when you said at random it kinda confused me

also it could be behind the tweeter, basically anywhere the wire is...not only where it conects to the amp or hu

um...you know you got owned right? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
It happens to the best of us. You have to admit there was no way of helping him without knowing more, though right? Haha, congratulations on a successful diagnose, sir. Just want you to know there's no hard feelings here, though.
