tri mode operation of amp ... ?

hello all.

in the rear deck of my valiant I have a pair of kicker ds 6930 speakers

and a selenium 8" mid in the center

I want to try hooking up the 6x9s to left and right at 4ohm

and bridge in the selenium 8" at 8ohm

my amp I am using at the moment is an old *** rockford punch 150a2

Rockford Fosgate Punch 150a2

I know I can just hook it up like that and give it a try

but id like to not blow up this old amp . its got sentimental value to me.

ive owned it since new and has been in my viechles for the last 10 or so years.

lmk what you guys think.
