treo vs sundown

i'd say go for whatever is cheaper. they are really similar amps in term of output and build quality. i've been running my treo ssx750.1 at .666 ohms daily and it does fine. i might be selling it soon too if i can find a 1500

just take a peek at reviews about Treo 1500.1's.

they do ALL of 3000 rms @ 1 ohm, 1500+ @ 2 ohm.

but the sundown amp is nice as hell too. 1500's are SOLID as bricks.

the amp is 1 ohm stable, i had the 1500ssx and it was a stout amp only problem was that they are current hogs
takes power to make power.

We can fix the Treo 1500's, never worked on the smaller treos... The SAZ-1500D is good at 1 ohm, 12-16V. output will range from 1400-2000 at those voltages. I think the Treo 1500's are pretty beastly amps, but they tend to break legs off the FETs from vibration, causing massive destruction of the mosfets... Those god-****ed spring clips... cheap bastards use spring clips.. Sundown is "screw and alluminum block" all the way, no spring clip ****.

You stated you have an SIA 3500 right now. I would run it for now with the supply for the demand, until you decide you want more power and have...

Wired to option #1 would be ideal for those subs. I have quite a few 10s. in the proper enclosure, tens can get down pretty good with the right...
