a 4 cube box is what the 18" needs......

cut down to about 3 cubes, as recommended and you'll be fine

making the box smaller isn't going to make it louder though. it will increase power handling, but won't make it louder.

just wired the sub in parallel and it's sittin at .8 - 1ohm. still not much of a diff in sound. hasen't dropped below 13 yet....still playin with it

i had mine is 4.5 cubes @ 33hz and it slammed in my yukon denali. i was hitting mid 40's.

aight, dropped it down to about 1ohm, set gains with DMM, sounds a sh!tton better, just gotta play with the box. (aka get a new one or seal this one better) i'll keep u guys posted

yea if its not sealed COMPLETELY, don't have that person make your next box

you clearly have no clue how box designing works.

changing the box size can have MANY different effect on the subwoofers performance. the box needs to be smaller for the 15" simple as that.

I agree with the first part but I wanna say the box the guy I referenced was larger than 4 cubes but not by much...it wouldnt hurt trying a little bigger vs reccommended

i made the box myself and it turned out pretty shitty...i know it did, it was my first box. deff a lot of leaks. prolly get one made about 3.5 cubes tuned to 32......pretty sure it was at too high of an imopedance and not getting enough power

heres the one i gotta finish cutting when its done raining...lol....nothin spectacular...lol ....external aeros 32 hz to start with just wanted it a diff shape cause i changed the currnt box to externals and its way to deep that way.....
