never seen it drop below 11.8

tomorrow i'll drop it down to under an ohm, play it for a few and see how it does. not too sure how much the amp will like it though

i'll be generouse with the gains, if it blows, then time for a recone.... i would rather have the sub blow than the amp. those aren't cheap

11.8V!... thats a big part of your problem right there your battery is only at like 25% at that voltage as far as power output

11.8 sounded a bit low to me but honestly i have no idea of what good voltage is when burping with 2000 watts.

2500RMS?? runnin a 2000 watt amp at 12.5V...... I dunno the rep on that amp, but i'd be surprised if its puttin out more than 1500 at that voltage

think of it this way... your at 12.5... imagine -2 drops to 10.5... that diff. is gonna be about the same audible diff from 12.5-14.5 with a stong alt....

yea, so i'd say about 1500 at best at 12.5.

a 4 cube box is what the 18" needs......

cut down to about 3 cubes, as recommended and you'll be fine
