well i have a 4 spd automatic. shifts to 2nd fine, 3rd good, then 4th the rpms drop down to about 1500, speed is 45 mph. then it starts to chug sorta. Like it jerks forward and back till i reach 60 mph, which then the rpms are at 2000.

my jeep is all-time 4 wheeldrive (4 wheel drive kicks in when my tires slip or something like that) i just know 4 wheel drives have problems with high mileage. i have 120,000 miles.

i had the transmission filter replaced and fluid. still happens.

what do u guys think it is? i just want to know if i should take it to the transmission shop or to the regular shop. thanks

computer programing might be messed up or censors on the motor its self or lock up tourqe converter messing up and letting it lock up to soon. or try putting it in regular drive in stead of over drive if it has the option and it should keep it in 3rd instead or 4th and when u feel is high enough into rpm's shift it back to over drive/4th just a sugestion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
