What is the bare minimum I would need to pull a 16ft fiberglass V-hull runabout?

I'm currently towing it on a 1500 suburban, but that won't be an option next year.

So anyway, what would get the job done? That's a pretty broad question I guess..

An F150 could do it.

I guess you want to tow it comfortably. I would get a 3/4 ton or bigger. F250, Ram 2500. Diesel would save gas miliage. What years, budget are you looking at for a truck.

I pulled a 22 foot Ebbtide with aluminum trailer on a trailblazer. You could easily do it with an F150 or the likes. But the bigger the vehicle, the more ocmfortable and safer it is.

You're thinking I need something that large? the 5.7l V8 tows it and you literally can't feel it until about 55mph

Well budget is going to be very low, this car is basically going to be for audio, for fun.

Get an older F150, burban, Bronco, Ram, Ramcharger. Something of the sorts. any 1/2 ton jank will pull that.

My 1500 chevy pulls a boat or a 28-32 ft rv trailer just fine ... just don't drive stupid ...

Towing isn't usually the problem................stopping is FYI.

Anyway, a boat that small and light could be pulled with most any vehicle with a receiver hitch.

get a sway controller setup and a trailer brake set up ... work wonders !!!
