I've got a 2000 silverado with an ext cab, looks something like this:
My plan is to take out the back seat and make full use of that area for a box, still undecided on 4th order or just straight ported. I got the idea from one of lil_KB's builds with two Alpine Type-R's.
Basically I started off thinking I could get an 18" FI BTL fully loaded and maybe a Hifonics Brutus BXI2610D to power it. The problem with that is for subs and amp my budget is right around 500 and the sub itself is 496 otd and the amp is 389. If I can't find any cheaper alternatives I'll just wait it out until I get the money but I'm not really one for patience.
Just looking for some general feedback on what you would do with an empty backseat (no blowthroughs) with a budget of 500 (little flexible) for subs and amp (box building and wiring is a nonissue) with goals of high 140 dee bees.
