im playing around with the calculator and am confused on the blank that says "number of common port walls". whats this mean? and for examples sake, what would be the correct number for a typical L port and why? thanks

Look in the help section of the app, it explains everything. To answer ur ? , L port would be 3 common walls. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

well the help section says this

"The '# of Common Port Walls' box refers to how many sides of the box are going to act as sides of the port."

which makes sense. but, i dont get how they get 3 for an L port.lol. i would think its 2

its 3 and i think its cuz it accounts for the top and bottom being there all the way around your common walls on a L port is the front face side wall and back wall. if that makes sense.

yeah i think thats it. i just never thought of the front wall as a face. its funny if you try to plug 4 into that blank though.lol. i dont see why it couldnt be done tho. it would be like a C port.lol
