Torrent Help

Today i had the school helpdesk install a new hard drive in my laptop... i noticed they also installed "Webroot SME Security Clinet"... It seems to be the same thing as spysweeper. Anyways since i got my new hard drive installed i cant download torrent files... i get "error: access denied." Ive tried different torrents with bittorrent and utorrent. Im guessing its webroot blocking it? I cant remove webroot... it wont let me remove it in add/remove programs, and it doesnt show up on the start menu.

What should i do?

or start-run-msconfig-startup

remove anything pertaining to the program from the startup list and reboot

well i did that and spysweeper isnt running... i still get the same torrent error... any other suggestions?

go back to the school and ask them "did i ****ing ask you to install this shit on my laptop?"

try a third party uninstall program

otherwise, take you computer back and tell them to reinstall windows without that crap or reinstall windows yourself

nvm i just turned off diskio.flush_files and it still doesnt work... i did all the faq's http://utorrent.com/faq.php#I_get_Error_Access_Denied_and_.C2.B5Torrent_halts_the_torrent

cool i got it working by installing a really old version of bittorrent
