Worst Night of My Life

So I know most of you guys will be laughing in my face from this but, this is a place I can let some feelings out I guess so here goes the story. I was driving to my dad's last night because I like to stay there on the weekends when I'm home from college. Anyhow I was driving my daily driver. 96 Audi A6 Quattro. I was going maybe 72mph on the highway in the left lane. I had it on cruise and all of a sudden my check engine light comes on and i notice my car was slowing down. I pushed on the gas and had no response. I then noticed my motor was turned off, my electrical was still on but no power steering or brakes. I pulled over to the center lane and within minutes I had two trooper cars behind me. I tried starting it and the starter sounded fine but would not catch. I had a flatbed out there within a few more minutes and I had them bring it to my local mechanic. Upon arrival I opened the hood to see the beautiful plastic casing around my motor was torn to shreds. The timing belt which I had replaced roughly 20,000 miles ago had snapped and torn all the shit up. The 2.8l v6 thats in there is an interferance motor so pretty much im screwed. there looking at it now but im guessing it will cost more to fix then the whole car cost me. 72mph isnt worthy of a ticket. Anything under 10mph is just a warning and I have as clean of a record as they come so im pretty sure they wouldnt care, most the cops go over 70mph anyhow

I have been pulled over for speeding when I was going under the speed limit. They just wanted to search the car.

i hate when ever i get searched...most cops trip out after they see 2 or 3 guns in my vehicle....

Well around here I guess thats not an issue, plus I don't do/have anything illegal in my car. The only thing they would have found if they searched my car would be a box with a sub and no amp.

had that shit happend to me they pulled EVERYTHING out of the car, i MEAN EVERYTHING. When they didnt find anything they simply shruged there shoulder and said have a good day. I got stuck putting ll of the shit back

Around here we don't use guns unless were hunting (animals, not humans) So I could imagine if you were searched here and they found guns youd be on the ground and cuffed in a matter of seconds.

I didn't even have a system. I had a cd player, 3.5s in the dash and 4x10s in the deck.

20% Mirror Tint + 100 spoke wires + Gbody cutlass = pulled over for pointless shit often.

Well most of the time, bad things happen to me during the day, so yea this is the worst "night" of my life. It was my first car, I had it since I was 15 so we go back a ways.
