me and my buddy were jaming and kept hearing this weird noise, wasnt sure what it was in till i looked at the sub and noticed that the sub had a little susperation to is thought the dust cap was coming apart, man was i wrong haha

so my question is where could i find a recone for it ?

the dents came from his sister setting an amp on top of it then him getting in his truck and turning it on. yes i know horrable grammer

not sure where you could find a recone but I have 2 t2 12s to switch it with lol

You can get some CA glue and reglue the surround onto the cone.

tell your friend to call RF and try to get it warrantied, if he thinks he has a warranty that is, cuz by the looks of it, i think that could be considered a manufacturer's defect

if not get some jb weld and paste it on the bottom side all over the rim

he says no trades soon hes doing 8 15s in the bed

and we cant reglue it to the suround cause its the aluminum part that has riped

and we have thought about the jbweld idea lol

from experience you have 2 options(if you want to keep it)

1. if your cool with the dealer you bought it from take it back he can return it RF all you have to pay is shipping(only if their an authorized RF dealer)

2. pay like 140(maybe a little more for the 15") + shipping and they send you a new one(they send a new one regardless)

he says where he bought it they did not give any warrenty so recone of fix only options. any other options? and thanks every one so far for the help
