Wiring amp leads to service connects for an inconviently battery locale? Good/bad?

So i'm going to be wiring in my system soon and i noticed my battery is located in my left wheel well. However, there are 2 service connects that are sitting pretty right on top of the right side of my engine. Would it be a bad idea to wire my amp lead from that service connect? Any/all opinions welcome! Especially experienced ones! Thanks!
