no one here likes rockford fosgate's???

I like RF, some people have gone way over board with rumors about reliabilty issues,

 

yeah they did have some, but what people dont realize is how many amplifers that RF makes compared to all the other companies, their amps are not quite what they used to be, but who can tell about the new 2004 line up, their specs are impressive and I am willing to try them

punch series is crap, power is ok. i think their subs are decent for the price though.

well, i rate amplifiers in terms of the following when i categorise them

1. reliability

2. build quality

3. thd/damping

4. raw power

5. features

chances are, if its reliable and build like a tank, it will be good on clean power

also, RF never made a 1000a2 punch - only a 1000a2 power - i still have mine.

who cares alot of the amps made today are bullsh!t anyway. true punch did make the 1000a2 in a power series. all of there old power amps were very good though.
