What would be the best amp to power 1 15" XXX?

And how do i know if i need to buy a new alternator for my car?

Get the Brutus 1500, good amp I goot one. It will put out 1500watts at 1ohm. As for the alternator, if you lights are dimming real bad when you get a new amp, it probably means you need a new alternator.

before you get a new alt, upgrade the wires underneath hood. thats what i did and it worked great.
