Good thread idea...I'm not experienced with these subs, based mostly on what I read. So now I present you with, in no particular order, my top 5 spl woofers.

Treo CSX

Cerwin Vega Stroker

Shocker Extreme II series

Kove Armageddon, perhaps

Shocker SS (best budget SPL, by far)

I know the first post said top 10, but I am too tried to think of 5 more...

Kove Armageddon

Orion HCCA

American Bass

Shocker Xtreme II

Shocker 3

RE RE-cone

those are my top 10 SPL subs that if i had money i would run each of them but i don't have the money considering the cheapest woofer on there is like 250.

Kicker Solo X's

DD 9500 and 9900

i knew i forgot a sub the MMATS Juggy mean mother of a sub. yes treo's are fantastic but, you can get a pair of DD subs for how much the Treo costs. although who wants to mess with DD.

THeir 2003 team rockford limited edition subs look mean, and even Llyod's agreed that it's a monster of a sub, just that it's too expensive...

I do believe that one of the vehicles at db Drag Finals had all Rockford, hit low 170's...
