I'm building a new box (my first) for my subs. can some one tell me of a good tool to use for cuting out the cirlce for the sub cut out? are there any out there that can do that and sand like a drimel tool or of that sort? can hand tools do that, cut circles?

I can cut stright pices of wood, i just need to cut out a cricular pice for the sub opening. you guys think they make big enough attatchements for a drill cutting bit?

ahh i think i got it. i'll just drill a big hole with my bigest drill bit and start to saw my way out and then start cutting in a circle?

rotozip has a circle cutting tool. Its alright, not the best. The blade doesn't cut that well through 3/4 mdf. Using a router is the way to go, but if you got a jig saw and you are only making one sub box then just go with the tools you got.

routers kick *** if you are going to be using it alot. if you only plan to use it once or twice for this project, stick with a really cheap jigsaw.
go on aim i wanna talk to you about routers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
