Took everyones advice and got the 12w7.

For that setup you will need to get at least 1" thick MDF for the box. Don't try using 3/4". One of my friends has a 13.5" W7 in his truck (he's an installer for an audio store) he's put the box back together 3 or 4 times now and resealed it cause he keeps on litteraly rattling it apart.

Usually a good idea to seperate subs. The divider wall will add strength to the box since it will go between the longest part of MDF usually. It will also keep the subs different so they won't throw each other off. Sometimes one sub can hit a little harder than the other one.

good point. and if you can't get a hold of 1"MDF, use two layers of 3/4" MDF...

true, the divider will add support to the box...but the chance of the two subs moving differently is pretty slim, especially in the W7's case...

u will never be able to break a fiberglass box after it reaches 1/4" thick. i build glass boxes all of the time and never had one come back for repair. also i built a dual 12" box for 2 solo L7's and did not use a divider and the box was only bout 5/8" thick and they knock like there is no tomorrow and he has 2 direkted 1100d's pushing them.dont worry bout weight, glass boxes r very strong and if need advise u can email me and i will be glad to help.

good deal bro!!!

For get about the **** ports. I just finished makeing the mold for the fiberglass enclosure. Oh man i wanted to give up. I'm gonna finish my fiber box but I will not bother with the tunning and ports. I'll probably go crazy if i have to think about how to make slot ports for my box.
