If the clipped power is still not producing the heat of clean power it won’t hurt anything. Clipping does not kill, heat does

clipping produces an enormous amount of heat purely due to the coil not moving and cooling due to the sustained amplitudes where the amplifier puts out the most power. It doesnt kill directly but it creates the perfect situation for death and damage especially with any amplifier that does at least over 200 actual watts with a 2.5 inch coil or smaller which is most of those SQ head's gears consist of over in DIYMA.
