Too Sexy For My Truck(with pics!)

Thats what your looking at SLC265 I beleive. Give 6spdcoupe a holler I bought mine from him and I love everything about them.

Idk if thats what Im lookin for. I'd rather get something that has the tweeter with the midbass all in one, b/c I really dont want to cut holes in my brand new trucks door panel. lol

Then I would look at a component set that can also be converted to a co-axial set. Im not sure if the rainbows do that, but I know the boston pro60's do. Thers alot of them out there.

Looks nice, I really just wanted to comment on your good taste in trucks though lol

Be happy you mounted the tweeter up there though. Mine is temporarily mounted in the speaker grille in the doors (clamped on from the back side) and my left leg blocks a lot of sound from the tweet. Im just waiting to find some kick panels.

Disconnect the rear speakers and forget about them. With those components up front and some good power, you don't need anything else. Except maybe a sub or two if you want.

Nice system!

Yes! RL-i is coming next but I need some help on the amp. I was looking at the soundstream picasso I think it was and also the JBL GTO series. I always go for sexy amps.

The tweeter isnt perfectly flush, very close but the door panels are slightly contoured. Any ideas of somthing to fill the gap with. Custom fiberglass?

Good work,

and the term for a component set that can be mounted as a co-ax is a 'convertible' comp set.

American Bass.

Boston.

SOME kickers.

Crossfire.

Quite a few have options like that. Although most of the SQ based lines won't.

Just a tip for next time if you didn't know allready, it's very easy to cut a hole for a tweeter in plastic with a regular old hole saw that is the same diameter as your tweeter.

Anyways about the Picasso, I've heard very good things about em and I'm thinking of getting on myself for my sub. The 3500d, but they're a tad pricey and I'd like to get one used but I have never seen one in the classifieds. Which amp are you thinking of getting?
