Too say with Punch HX2 or change!

Well, the last subs I bought where 2 12" RF Punch HX2's back in early 2000. They are in a 4.0 box tuned @ 32. I just got a BX1500D and they sound good. I listen to everything from rap to rock to disney songs(depends if the kids are in the car..lol). When their is no kids we like to turn it up.The car is an 03 GMC Envoy.

With all the talk of the newer subs I'm thinking of a change. I've been looking at 2Type R's or 2 L7's. I need as much room as possible.

Would I see any improvement! Or sould I just say with RF....

thats a tough one. those are some dam good subs. I dont know if you would see that much, maybe the L7s

Since I want more room in the back of the SUV, that's why I was thinking of Type R's would do good in a smaller ported box.

Would inverting the subs make any difference in sound? I know it will change the cubic feet of the box. I was going to make a new box(wedge style) with areo ports and invert the subs.
