too muck power?

alright, as y'all can tell i like my sh!t loud. i really dont want to run with mb quart qsd216's because of the tweets but those comps are loud as hell. they have very good midbass and the drivers are easier to work with than my cdt es 620's.

heres what i want to do.... i got a dls A1 that im not using. i was thinking about running the dls A1 to the tweets and the dls A3 to the drivers. will that work? im used to doing the standard comp, h.u., sub install. dont want to go active. would like to use the crossovers that come with comp set.

another question... is this gonna be too much power on my batt and alternator? i'll be using a dls A1(45x2@4ohm), A3(150x2@4ohm), A6(1200@1.33ohm). im using 0/1 gauge power to a o/1- 4 gauge- 4 gauge distro block

I dont see how your going to run the tweets with one amp and the drivers with another if your not going active...unless your crossovers have a BI-amp feature...

In that case it should be fine....I doubt thats too much power for most cars with the big 3....whats your alternators rating? Im running around 1800RMS and its not a hge strain on my maxima....

yeah, i blew my A6- dont know how- it just went into safe mode. i gotta send it to dls. their gonna fix it for free. it's way past warranty too.

i bought that A1 to power a set of horns to be paired up with some idq8's, but i didnt realize at the time how much trouble that was gonna be. i just want my fronstage loud as hell. i hate metal dome tweets but those mb qsd216's are loud as hell.
