Thanks for the thought, but this sort of thing is far too subjective to be able to write a definitive "Top 10" list.

I don't see how you can say, for example, that a McIntosh amp is objectively better than a Brax. The only thing you could say is that they're both excellent pieces, but it comes down to what fits your budget and install that determines what you ultimately end up with. That's something that can't fit on a convienent list.

I wouldn't call it worthless as I think the thought behind it was genuine but like Jim said ~ it is far too subjective a subject to be able to come to any real common agreement on something like this.

Agreed.

Combine the extreme subjectivity with constantly changing product selection...and the list is nearly impossible to ever create with any accuracy.

I just dont see why JL audio is so High up on the subwoofer list

theres not one JL prodect that is in the same class as some of the DD stuff or the TC sounds stuff.

And the entry-level DD and TC Sounds gear isn't particularly comparable to the W6 or W7s either.

It's all extremely relative hence so many respondants disagreement with this kind of thread being stickied...

all im saying is look at the nest prodect from each company and i dont think anyone here can say JL audio should be number 3 on that list
