too much?

I'm contemplating maybe putting 3 10" L5's in my truck powered by one of the amps in my sig(prolly the BA or the RE). Do you think that may be a little too much to handle in a regular cab s-10? Everything will be sound deadened too. I was just thinking about putting them all on the passenger side so i don't have to feel it! Seems like it may be too much.

TO MUCH, theres NEVER to much. well i see what your saying cause that is a lot of loudness. if u can fit them all go for it, but ide say just keep it clean and looking nice, if that means you can use all 3 go for it, but if it means u only use one, im sure the L5 will still put out.

Oh, i'm definately getting two, i was just wondering since both the amps i said put out 1500+ watts at 1 ohm maybe i could have three. That would be **** loud though. My 2 little MTX 4000's are loud!

The 10's are 450 watts RMS and i can get the dual 2-ohms, wire each one in series and get a final load of 1.33 ohms, which would work great with the RE or the BA.

yeh, so ur saying 400 watts to each (BE amp @ 4 ohms?). 400 watts will push them nicely.

Well actually, since the amp will be running at 1.33 ohms bridged that means it will be putting out around 1400 RMS, so that means around 460 per sub. ooo, i seem im thinking ur talking about 2 subs. Either way, 4 ohms w/ 2 subs would be tighter, but what ur saying is tightER.

Lol, god, i wonder what kind of numbers i could put up with 3 of those. Especially since they will be inside the cab.
